En 1993 la banda británica de reggae UB40, realizaron este cover y aparece en la banda sonora de la película del mismo año “Sliver” (protagonizada por Sharon Stone y William Baldwin)
Personalmente me encantan las dos, la original con la voz insuperable del gran Elvis y la mas movida y noventera de UB40.

Kate Moss lanzó una exclusiva línea de carteras y bolsos diseñadas por ella, para la firma francesa Longchamp.
Esta línea se divide en tres propuestas diferentes. “Faraway Exotic”, “Faraway Chic” y “Faraway on the Road”.
Son 12 bolsos en total, inspirados en el estilo de finales de los sesenta y comienzos de los setenta, oseaaa qué mas bello!
Lanzaron también un Fashion Film, “Faraway”, protagonizado obviamente por Kate y con el tema “Sand” de Nancy Sinatra de fondo.
Además en la página oficial de Longchamp, existe la opción de aplicar el efecto “Faraway” en tus propias fotos, hagan click AQUÍ para que lo prueben, (se demora un poco en cargar la opción)
Con este cover gana el 2000 un Grammy por “Best Female Rock Vocal Performance”

Ha sido re versionada muchas veces, siendo la mas conocida la de Mariah Carey, que incluyó en su sexto álbum de estudio “Rainbow”
Postal Service grabó otra versión para la banda sonora de la película “Wicker Park” el 2004. Este cover ha sido reconocido por el New York Post, como uno de los mejores de todos los tiempos, y la verdad es re lindo! :D

Como que da la idea de una relación que ha pasado por muchos obstáculos, y que esta justo atravesando una última crisis, con la esperanza de superarla.

Esta canción ha sido innumerablemente versionada por distintos artistas, entre ellos: The Supremes, The temptacions, Jackson 5, Percy Slage, Small Faces, Cyndi Lauper, Bobby McFerrin y Rod Stewart.
Por ahí por el año 1963 fue grabada por The Beatles, quizás la mas conocida de todas las versiones.
Pero originalmente pertenece a The Miracles, incluida en el álbum “The Fabulous Miracles” del 1962.
La letra da cuenta de ese elemento medio masoquista que tienen algunas relaciones, en donde la obsesión se confunde con el amor. Y que aunque te traten pésimo igual sigues enganchada :(
Bueno, a pesar de que la letra es todo lo contrario a lo que uno debe hacer, es un precioso tema :D

Hace ya varias temporadas que el animal print está con nosotros. Pero lejos de abandonarnos, se viene con todo una vez mas :D
Algunos tips:
1.Evitar el exceso: Como en todo, es necesario utilizarlo en su justa medida. Un dato es tener ojo y no abusar de él. A muy pocas les podría sentar bien usar mas de dos prendas con estampado animal print.
2.Saber combinar: Para irse a lo seguro, se puede usar en combinación con el negro o con el café en todos sus tonos. Pero para las mas atrevidas, otra opción puede ser usarlo en combinación con el rosa claro, el verde, el azul o incluso el rojo. Pero con inteligencia y prudencia!
3.En los accesorios: Existen pulseras, cinturones, zapatos, aros, guantes, bolsos, anillos o collares que traen el animal print como protagonista. Esta es una opción muy útil a la hora de usar esta tendencia, ya sea porque no te animas a vestirlo en blusas, faldas o vestidos; o porque simplemente taaaanto animal print no te tinca…lánzate con un detalle chic con esta propuesta! ;)
